Welcome
Over this program, you will learn to apply focused and radial shockwave therapy safely and effectively across the cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacroiliac regions, as well as the temporomandibular joint.
Who is teaching you?
Dr Tim St. Onge
In chiropractic practice since 2005. In his final year of school he completed the full-body Active Release Technique certifications, and has spent the past twenty years combining chiropractic care with ART. Around ten years ago he added Fascial Distortion Model training.
His introduction to shockwave came by accident: a knee injury, a conference demonstration, and enough pain relief afterwards that he went home and researched the technology. That research led to a long series of conversations, his first machine, and a return to running.
Dr Randy Knoche
Practising in Colorado Springs and in his fortieth year of practice. He discovered shockwave roughly ten years ago when a veterinarian patient asked whether he had a unit, then explained the connection between lithotripsy and the devices used on horses.
At the time he was dealing with his own proximal hamstring tendinopathy that had resisted everything in a considerable soft-tissue toolkit — dry needling, myofascial release and more. He got his first look at a unit at a sports medicine conference in Utah, started having success immediately, and has not looked back since.
